Research Abstract |
Financial intermediaries, banks and other financial institutions, for instance, have paid certain attention and efforts for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities including SRI (Socially Responsible Investment), SF (Social Finance) practices, ESR (Environmental and Social Responsibility) engagements and others. Many of them have also published ESR and/or CSR reports to the public as well as the disclosure reports on their management standings. Relationship banking especially between financial institutions and small and medium enterprises has been examined with the econometric analysis using relevant variables and data to find that relationship banking has positive impact on the profitability of the companies, and other results containing the existence of multi-banking relationships, and the like. Moreover CG (Corporate Governance) being one of the most vital factors for improving the overall business practices in the global economy has also been investigated with international comparative approach in relation to CSR, firm management, relationship banking, corporate culture and so forth.
