Research Abstract

イオン液体における融点の問題を密度汎関数法を使って研究した。ただし、ここでいう密度汎関数理論は古典液体の理論で、電子状態理論とは違う。まず、点電荷を持った剛体球系の融点を計算し、現実のイオン液体の低融点を説明した。次に、より複雑な系の融点を計算する理論を開発し、極小が2つあるポテンシャルの系で、広い範囲の相図を計算した。また、ガラス転移における配置エントロピーと比熱の関係を明らかにした。
