Research Abstract

フィールド調査の結果、ミズクラゲ重量と底層の溶存酸素濃度の間に負の相関が認められた。またミズクラゲの分布域と、魚卵稚仔や動物プランクトンの分布域は、一致していなかった。安定同位体比分析より、ミズクラゲは魚卵稚仔を含む動物プランクトンを主な餌とする雑食性であると推定された。ミズクラゲは強い貧酸素耐性を有しており、沿岸域の 貧酸素化にともない、ミズクラゲへの栄養フローが増大していると推定される。
