| Research Abstract |
グラム陽性菌のコラーゲン結合アドヘシンには、これらでよく保存さえている基本構造があり、CBD(Collagen-binding domain)を含むAドメインと、それに続く繰り返し配列からなるBリピート領域がそれである。S. ratti 107P株よりクローニングしたcnmホモログは、S. mutansのCnmとCBDで高い相同性(75%超)を示しながらも下流に認められるBリピート領域では、違いがみられ、菌体の細胞外マトリックス(ECM)成分への結合活性も異なっていた。
