Research Abstract |
We recorded activity of nursery school children with activity monitoring devices (ActiWatch) to evaluate the effects of obligatory daytime lengthy nap (1.5 hours) conducted at Japanese nursery schools. In the children over 4 years old, who need no daytime nap at home, bedtime was delayed about 1 or 2 hours by the obligatory daytime nap.
