Research Abstract

RANKL添加に依存して破骨細胞へと分化するRAW264.7細胞を用いて、TRAFfamilyを中心としたシグナル伝達に関して詳細な検討を行った結果、TRAF1が破骨細胞の分化を負に調節する分子であることが明らかとなった。次に、様々な阻害剤をRAW264.7細胞に添加しTRAF1をマーカーとして骨吸収阻害物質を探究した。Na+/K+ATPase阻害剤であるouabainとvanadateが破骨細胞同士の融合を抑制することを初めて見いだした。
