| Research Abstract |
三次元空間内の絡まった輪の事を結び目といい,その集まりを絡み目と呼ぶ.それらは紐を切らずに互いに変形し合えるものは同値とみなす.本研究では結び目の持つ,位相的な性覧を研究対象とし,性質を引き出すために結び目や絡み目を境界としてもつ曲面を利用した.その結果,絡み目補空間の構造(ファイバー構造),組紐としての良い配置,曲面込みでの良い配置,符号数やアレクサンダー多項式などの不変量などに関する成果をあげた.
