Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We defined the process where children as small existence were transformed into "jido"(=pupil) as "school socialization", and developed our research on the theme of History and Present of school socialization. First, for the purpose of continuing our previous research projects, we conducted some observations at some kindergartens and elementary schools and, in addition, used other qualitative methods such as discourse analysis and interviews on bullying and developmental disorder which are deviation from school socialization. These researches brought us some significant results such as publication of two books and many academic papers. Second, we conducted new observations and interviews of some private schools with unique educational philosophy and a small public school on a remote island. Comparing the outcome of these research projects with the achievement we have done in our previous researches, we obtained new findings and research questions of school socialization issues.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
第1の学術的社会的意義は、北澤毅・間山広朗編『囚われのいじめ問題』を2021年に刊行したことである。本書では、2011年に発生した「大津市中学生自殺事件」の事例研究を通して「いじめ観」や「いじめ言説」を問い直すことで、「いじめ問題」の解決方策を提案したことである。そして第2の意義は、本研究の最大の特徴である構築主義とエスノメソドロジーという方法的立場から、幼稚園や小学校の授業場面の分析を通して、「児童になる」ための相互行為能力を解明するとともに、そうした能力の欠如状態を「発達障害」と判断し特別な支援を実施しようとする公教育の問題性を指摘するとともに対応策を検討したことである。
