Outline of Annual Research Achievements

無容器浮遊技術であるガス浮遊法を用いて,これまで困難であった酸化物融体の広い温度領域での粘性測定を行うことが本研究の目的であった.研究期間中に強制振動による液滴振動の周波数スペクトルの半値幅から減衰率を算出し粘性を求める共鳴液滴振動法の原理の確認をおこなうことができた.本年度においては,酸化物融体の液滴振動減衰計測中、既存のCO2レーザーでの加熱で粘性率が5mPa・s以下となる温度まで到達できないことを受け,より高温度での液滴振動計測を行うために、新たなレーザー光源の導入と光学系の調整をおこなった.この新しいレーザー光源を使用しより高温領域まで温度が到達できることを確認し低粘性領域での液滴振動減衰計測を実施した.測定では従来の振動減衰の時間からの粘性算出と共鳴振動周波数スペクトルの半値幅からの粘性算出の比較をおこなった.また実験の遂行が困難なことも想定されるので,粘性を考慮した液滴振動の数値シミュレーションの準備をおこなった.
