Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、細胞核の細胞中央への移動や細胞質流動の発生におけるオルガネラの力学的な役割を定量的に明らかにすることを通じて、『真核生物の細胞内小器官(オルガネラ)が細胞内の大規模な空間再配置に必要な力学的要素として働いている』とするコンセプトを確立することを目指す。2020年度以降の主な進展は以下の通りである。
小胞体依存の細胞質流動が線虫C. elegansの受精後の細胞核のダイナミックな移動を駆動し、細胞核の位置によって決定づけられる細胞極性の確立を変えうることを見出し、査読付き英文国際誌Molecular Biology of the Cell誌における細胞と力に関する特集号に掲載された。また、細胞核の配置を規定するオルガネラである中心体の配置機構に関する新たな知見を得ることに成功した。これらの成果により細胞内の大規模な空間再配置におけるオルガネラの重要性を示すことができた。
