| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This project found that while inter-firm networks can be a channel of propagation of economic shocks, diversification of network partners can mitigate the negative propagation effect, using large-scale firm-level datasets. In addition, using social and natural experiments, this project revealed that while social contacts may create inter-group networks that lead to network diversification, it is not always the case.
