高速多重衝突噴流の圧縮燃焼原理に基づく多用途・高効率エンジンの原理研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度までに,多重衝突パルス噴流圧縮原理による燃焼室中央部の圧力上昇度の非燃焼時の実験計測を行い,数値解析との対比を行ったが,今年度は,噴流本数等を更に変更した数値解析も行って,圧縮度に関して,更に高精度な知見を得た.その結果,衝突噴流の本数を増やすことでより高い圧縮度合いを得られることが明確になった.
上記の噴流本数を増やした新しいプロトタイプエンジンの燃焼室を3Dプリンターで試作した.そして,これまで学内の実験設備では安全上の観点から3気圧程度にしか上げられなかった上流圧を,JAXA角田宇宙センターで借用した実験設備において10気圧程度にすることで,より実用化に近い条件で,非燃焼状態での噴流群衝突点付近の圧力上昇度の計測を行ったが,この新たな試作エンジンは高圧力条件でも破損すること等がなかったことが確認された.今後,この点で燃焼実験に進むことができることがわかったことは重要である.
また,博士論文審査を通して,これまで学内で行ってきたプロトタイプエンジンの燃焼実験で得られた推力データの精査を行った.ピーク値で150 N以上の実測推力値が繰り返し得られたが,これは,測定した壁圧力から試算した推力値と同等レベルであり,実測値が妥当であることが分かった.また、新たに比推力についても換算した結果では,吸気系の改良を行えば従来エンジンと同等かそれ以上になる可能性がより明確になった.
さらに,昨年度までに行った非燃焼および燃焼状態での研究結果を連動させ,総合的に俯瞰することによって,熱的・流体力学的な物理的因子群と,燃焼安定度を含むエンジン性能との関連性に関して考察し,現象のメカニズム解明も行った.
加えて,これまでの研究成果に関する国際会議での論文および口頭発表が評価され,日本シミュレーション学会から1件の受賞(講師以上の発表者も含む国際講演会の中で最優秀に相当する賞)を受けた.
