Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度の主な研究実績は、以下の2つに大別できる。(1)場の理論・重力理論における混合状態に関する相関測度の研究の進展、(2)情報計量を用いて場の理論から重力理論における時空の構造を導出する研究。まず(1)については、第一に、前年度に行った自由場における純粋化量子もつれの研究をより高度な数値計算技術を用いて発展させることで、他の相関測度には見られない純粋化量子もつれの特殊な性質を発見した。これによりホログラフィー原理に基づいた純粋化量子もつれ公式に新たな示唆を与えたほか、量子もつれと比べて従来軽視されてきた古典相関の重要性を指摘した。第二に、Q-相関およびR-相関と呼ばれる相関測度について、ホログラフィー原理の下で新たな幾何学的公式が存在することを提案した。この上で、これらの相関測度および純粋化量子もつれに対応する幾何学量が、公理論的な量子もつれ測度よりも大きな値を持つ状況を提示し、実際に古典相関がホログラフィー原理において重要な役割を果たしていることを明らかにした。次に(2)については、量子状態の相違を検出する情報計量を用いることで、作用素が挿入されることによる量子状態の変化を識別可能な経路積分上の領域が、ホログラフフィック共形場理論の場合に限ってエンタングルメント・ウェッジの形状と一致することを示した。これによって部分系上の情報計量を用いることで双対時空の構造を探索できることを明らかにした。
