| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I examined and analyzed documents(publications and manuscripts) held by several temples, mainly Jizo-ji Temple in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture. At Jizo-ji Temple, I focused on a group of manuscripts that had not been investigated in detail until now. As a result, a wide-ranging human and material network that had been difficult to see until now is gradually becoming clear. It is also becoming clearer than ever that even in regional temples that are not large, many documents remain that show the interactions and intellectual foundations of monks.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
地方の小規模な寺院は、所蔵文献の整理・調査が進んでいないことが多く、どのような資料が存在し、それらがどのような意味を持つのかということも不明瞭であると言える。地蔵寺の文献資料は、そういった寺院がかつて有していた役割というものが決して小さくなかったことを示すのに有益なサンプルであると位置づけることができる。また、比較的時代が新しい近世の資料であっても、精査することにより、たとえば諸本の研究に資するような存在となり、価値をより高めていけるということを本研究では提示できたと考える。
