| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this project, we created a database of all 1,902 haiku poems in "Yahantei Buson Kushuu" by Yosa Buson, the original copy of which was newly discovered in 2015. Our database is now available to the public on our website, as well as a journal article published as a report of our study. We also published a comprehensive research report with an index of shoku (the first 5 syllables of a haiku poem) in the collection (not for sale).
Our research specifically revealed that "Yahantei Buson Kushuu" is the source for the self-selected anthology of Buson, "Buson Jihitsu Kuchou (Handwritten Anthology of Buson's Poetry)." Based on this finding, we attempted to restore the missing sections of "Buson Jihitsu Kuchou" by examining the poems' sequence in "Yahantei Buson Kushuu" and successfully proposed restoration plans for 19 out of the 25 missing parts in "Buson Jihitsu Kuchou."

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
与謝蕪村の新出句集『夜半亭蕪村句集』収載の1902句の1句1句について、蕪村の句会記録および他の蕪村関係句集類との対応関係などについての詳しい情報を集積したデータベースを構築し、新出句集の全体像を提示するとともに新出句集が蕪村晩年の自選句集『蕪村自筆句帳』の選句元となった句集であることを具体的に明らかにすることができた。さらに、作成したデータベースをホームページ上および印刷物として公開することで蕪村俳諧研究の今後の進展に寄与することを可能とした。
