Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the early modern period, a variety of political information was transmitted through letters exchanged among feudal lords. This study collects and analyzes the letters that were used to transmit such political information. The study clarified how and by what route the information was transmitted by means of letters. Since the letters of the time are basically undated, it is necessary to date them in order to use them in research. In this study, we also accumulated data on letters to be used for dating.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
