Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In FY 2023 we conducted two online surveys among a total of 600 domestic Japanese travelers and 600 outbound Japanese travelers to test a model including 1) items on traveler personality factors and travel motivations as antecedent variables, 2) self-reported social interactions with travelers from Japan and from other countries, with residents, and with service staff as core mediator constructs, and 3) satisfaction, recommendation, and revisit intention as outcome variables. We are currently analyzing these data and testing multiple SEM models. We plan to publish the results in domestic and/or international journals.
