| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the texts of "Shonen Shosesu" in modern Japan and the boys' culture and their education at that time.
Specifically, I investigated materials related to "Shonen Shosesu." In particular, the library of Shizuoka University conducted a complete survey of the materials housed in the library and released the bibliographic data. In addition to analyzing the differences between "Shonen Shosesu" and "Shojyo Shosesu" from the perspective of gender studies, I also attempted to analyze text that is developed in multiple media of expression, such as novels, manga, live-action films, and kodan storytelling.
These results were presented at five academic conferences, published as two journal articles and one book article.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
「少女小説」については、これまで、ジェンダー研究やフェミニズム批評の視点から、さまざまに論じられてきた。これに対して、「少年小説」は研究の蓄積がほとんどなかったことから、まずは基礎的な研究を進める必要があった。
特に「少年小説」は、関連する資料が散逸している場合が非常に多い。そのため本研究では、資料を今後保存していくための基礎的な作業として、書誌的な調査を行うことで資料の所在を把握し、現状の確認を行った。
また、本研究を通じて多様なメディアを横断的に分析していく研究方法を実践することで、複数のメディアを通じて同時多発的に展開する現代の日本文化について研究を行うための枠組みを示した。
