| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research project, we investigated a recommender system of library materials on an e-book system for students. The recommender system automatically suggests library materials (e.g., contents such as scholarly articles deposited in institutional repositories, books owned by institutions) that are related to the lecture materials that students view on the e-book system. The recommender system enabled students to obtain knowledge and practical cases related to the lecture materials.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
教育現場での情報通信技術の導入が広がっている。特に、中等教育・高等教育等において、デジタル教材配信システムを活用した学習・教育が広まっている。デジタル教材配信システムは、授業中および予習・復習時に、教科書やスライド等の教材を、利用者のデジタル端末に表示するウェブアプリケーションである。閲覧されたページ、閲覧時間やマーカー箇所といったアプリケーション上での行動は学習ログとして蓄積される。学習ログは解析され、学習・教育の改善に利用されている。一方、学習において図書の果たす役割は大きい。学習ログに基づいて図書館資料を推薦して学生の関心を広げることで、学生の主体的な学びに発展する。
