Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は「サーベイ実験による政治情報伝達現象の国際協働研究」という大きなテーマ設定の下で、①国際組織の授権による対世論説得効果の分析、②見えない危機における政府声明の対世論情報効果の分析という二つの研究を行い、社会科学引用インデックス（SSCI）で評判の高い雑誌よりから複数の論文を刊行しようとするものである。
①と②について、PIの多湖淳が統括をし、北海道大学の小濵祥子、神戸大学の松村尚子がそれぞれテーマを分担して、米国のDuke大学のGrieco教授、中国の香港大学のQuek准教授との協働を進めてきた。①国際組織の授権による対世論説得効果の分析については松村とGriecoとともに3本のワーキングペーパーが完成し、そのうち1本は公刊に至った。また、付帯して進めてきた論文についてJournal of East Asian Studiesより論文の刊行が決まった。②見えない危機における政府声明の対世論情報効果の分析については小濵とQuekの組が協働を主導し、多湖が両者をさらにネットワーク化して相互の刺激し合いを促進し、政治情報伝達現象における国際比較実験研究の意義をまとめる研究を進めてきた。幸いにして強力な理論的な意味のある実験結果が出ており、ワーキングペーパー作成を進めており、目標を政治学トップ誌に据えて作業を進めてきており、Quekと小濱との論文は、政治学トップ誌の１つから、「Reject and Resubmit」という評価を得た（Reviseではなく、Rejectであるのは、より成功確率が低いことを意味するとの通知を得たが、しかし再投稿を求める意味では評価を得たと考え、改稿を進めることになった）。なお、同論文は2022年度中に最終的にアクセプトの判断を得た。

Journal of East Asian Studiesのほか、Journal of Politicsでの論文刊行に成功し、十分な成果をあげている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

さらに追加の実験を行い、ワーキングペーパーを書いたうえで順次投稿をしていく。サーベイ実験に基づく国際共同研究をアメリカとアジアと日本という三角形で有機的に進めていく。
