Research Abstract

ゼオライト細孔中へ機能を待った物質を導入することにより、それら個々の機能とは異なった新規の機能を創製するナノハイブリッドゼオライトは、光化学、光触媒、発光材料などの観点から注目されている。そこで我々は、溶液中とゼオライト細孔内における4-acetylbiphenylの光物性について、共存する金属イオンの効果の観点から系統的に調べた。
4-acetylbiphenylのBlue発光は、単独溶液系やゼオライト細孔内に導入しただけでは発現しないことが明らかとなった。また、4-acetylbiphenylは共存金属イオンによってその光物性を変え、ゼオライト細孔内で特定の金属イオン(Gd(III))と共存した場合のみ、Blue発光(蛍光)とりん光を同時に室温において与えた。4-acetylbiphenylの光物性を詳細に検討することで、複雑なRGB発光機構の解析を行うことができ、なおやつこの系の発光色制御、しいては光を操るナノハイブリッド系の構築に結び付けたいと考える。
さらに、ホスト材料して2次元制限空間を有する層状ケイ酸塩を用いて、構造と4-acetylbiphenyl発光挙動について検討したところ、層状ケイ酸塩のケイ酸骨格構造の変化が発光スペクトルに影響していることが分かった。また、層状ケイ酸塩に導入した4-acetylbiphenylは、室温下・空気雰囲気下でりん光発光を示した。
