| Research Abstract |
This study aimed to use gender analytically so as to prove Persian literary discourse not to be absent from women who have been situated in the cultural periphery and whose voice was too faint to be heard in the mainstream of the brilliant Persian literary heritage. Through the analysis of texts from classic to contemporary literature as well as women's folk song, folk tale, festival and religious ritual, we could affirm the existence of rich accumulation of women's literary discourse from different ages, strata, and gender.
