| Research Abstract |
Why do Naha overurbanize? By life-history research in 1980's, I hypothesized that this phenomena related to "Okinawan way of life". Now, I think that we have succeeded in verifying this hypothesis by quantitative method. And also, in our research We interviewed the mobil generation who returned to Naha from the Japanese mainland after 1990's. We succeeded in finding "Okinawan way of life" in this new generation also.
