Research Abstract

強誘電体(BaTiO_3)と強磁性体(CoFe_2O_4またはNiFe_2O_4)を複合化させたエピタキシャル成長薄膜を作製し、強誘電性と強磁性の相互作用について検討を行った。複合薄膜の強誘電特性に及ぼす外部磁場の印加効果を調べたところ、磁場印加によって強誘電性が変調されることを見いだした。SrRuO_3/(La,Sr)MnO_3/CeO_2/YSZ/Si基板上に作製したBaTiO_3-NiFe_2O_4エピタキシャル成長複合薄膜の断面TEM観察結果より、作製した薄膜はともにナノ粒子状のBaTiO_3 とNiFe_2O_4がエピタキシャル成長関係を保ちながら分相している、0-0型の複合構造をしていることが明らかになった。
