Research Abstract |
受精の過程において精子の運動能・受精能が調節されるメカニズムについて解明することを目的とし、本課題においては、主に精子走化性運動調節機構、及び精漿による精子の受精能調節機構の2点に研究内容を絞って研究を推進した。そして、精子走化性においては精子誘引物質による精子鞭毛内Ca^(2+)濃度上昇が鞭毛運動の変化となり、走化性運動に顕著な方向転換となっていること、マウス精子の受精能獲得は精漿タンパク質SVS2が精子表面のガングリオシドGM1と結合することで抑制されること、ヒト精子の受精能抑制は精漿タンパク質SgとZn^(2+)により制御されていることなどが明らかとなった。
