Research Abstract

真核細胞は遺伝情報を安定に保ち、正確に発現し、細胞分化を維持するため、多彩な機構を働かせている。H2Aの118番目のリジン残基はユビキチン化されることが30年前に明らかにされている。われわれは今回の研究により、このH2A118Kのユビキチン化がH3K4 のメチル化とクロストークすることにより遺伝子転写開始を調節していることを明らかにした
