Research Abstract |
アラスカ永久凍土やスイス高山土壌から低温での生育特性やタンパク質の分泌生産特性に優れた細菌を分離した。アラスカ永久凍土由来の低温適応微生物がヘモリシン共制御タンパク質のホモログを分泌高生産することを見いだし、本タンパク質の分泌装置を利用した外来タンパク質分泌生産系構築に向けて分泌機構を解析した。一方、南極海水から分離した低温菌について、本菌を宿主としたタンパク質生産系構築において利用価値が高いと考えられる低温誘導性プロモーターを単離した。
