Research Abstract

利他行動はヒトの社会行動の大きな特徴であるが、他者の利他性について非言語的な手がかりから推測できるのかどうか、また利他性が顔の記憶にどのように影響しているのかどうかについて実験を行った。その結果、ヒトは第三者の利他性について非言語的な手がかりのみからある程度正しく推測できることが明らかになった。また、以前の社会的交渉における相手の態度が、無意識のうちに記憶に影響し、後の交渉に影響していることが明らかになった。さらに、同情の機能について検討し、同情という感情が他者への利他行動を動機づけることで進化した可能性が示された。
