Research Abstract |
ヒトが短時間記憶できる視覚情報は3-5個の物体にすぎないが、特徴の組合せを正確に記憶できる量はさらに少ない。これは、記憶情報の読み出しの問題ではなく保持できる量自体の減少による。また、知覚情報の欠如を補完できるのは物体1個の情報に限られる。特徴の組合せの記憶に関連する脳活動を調べた結果、特徴統合の保持は頭頂葉と前頭葉の後部、変化検出のための記憶と知覚の比較照合は前頭葉の前部が主に関与していることが示唆された。
