Research Abstract |
This research is a study of two Japanese contemporary dancers ; Kei Takei (1939-) and Setsuko Yamada (1950-). To clarify their perspectives of dance, their characteristics of methods for training and choreography, it was accomplished through document investigations, interview surveys, and analyses of the videos recorded in the process of their training and choreographies. Moreover, it was considered that their methodologies were effective for expression and creative dance in education at schools, especially for teaching method of improvisation and choreography.
