| Research Abstract |
大洋スケールの魚類バイオマス変動の謎を解き、有用魚類資源の長期動態と将来予測にとって極めて重要となると考えられる、別府湾堆積物中のカタクチイワシ及びマイワシの魚鱗アバンダンスの過去1500年間における変動記録を明らかにした。また、その魚類資源変動を引き起こす低次生産及び海洋構造の動態を調べた。
