Research Abstract |
The waterway in villages is seen almost in the whole country, and has been used for the drinking water, washing clothes and other things, and the ship-way.. etc. The case collection by the document and fieldwork are executed from the standpoint of environmental folklore. The waterway in the village can be assorted into flow-type and moat-type. It was clarified that the function of warterway have changed from the one in direct contact with a body such as drinking and washing to indirect contact. It was proposed that not only maintenance on the spectacle side but also the function for cultural capitalizations is necessary in the future.
