| Research Abstract |
実解析学だけでなく、偏微分方程式論、電気流動学などへの応用を念頭に、ソボレフ関数を利用して、さまざまな関数空間におけるソボレフ型定理を発展させたり、楕円型偏微分方程式を考察したりするポテンシャル論的研究を行った。例えば、変動指数をもつ関数空間における極大関数の有界性を導き、その応用として、ソボレフの不等式やTrudinger指数積分不等式について新しい知見を得るなど、ソボレフの定理を発展させることができた。
