Research Abstract |
This Research clarified characteristics of the water front landscape and its configuration in the riverside area, and its historical formation process. The subject of this research is The Kamo River and its tributary small waterway and its network, especially on the Myojin River area, and the Kinri Goyosui waterway and ponds of gardens near Kyoto Imperial Palace. This research showed how the waterway and its network influenced on the configuration of the site and its formation of the characteristic landscape.
