Research Abstract

高レベル廃棄物に高濃度に含まれる代表的な3種のイオン、Cs^+、Sr^<2+>、La^<3+>を、マトリックス材である酸化チタン(TiO_2)と共にモリブデン酸溶融塩に溶解後、電気分解することによって、それぞれ、チタン酸単結晶固化体Cs_xTi_8O_<16>、SrTiO3、La_<2/3>TiO_3の形態で電気分別固化することに成功した。高温・高圧水中でのリーチ耐性評価により、Cs_xTi_8O_<16>およびSrTiO_3単結晶固化体が、いずれも高い腐食耐性を示すことを明らかにした。現実の高レベル廃棄物に対する電気分別固化法の高い実効性が証明された。
