Research Abstract

分裂酵母M26/CRE 配列の周辺におけるヒストン修飾やクロマチン再編成に関わる因子を数種同定し、それらの欠失変異株について、種々のストレスに対する感受性やヒストン修飾における役割を解明した。さらに、グルコース飢餓時に転写が活性化する分裂酵母fbp1+遺伝子座におけるクロマチン再編成に、mRNA 型の長鎖ノンコーディングRNA のカスケード転写が関わることを見出し、ノンコーディングRNA を介した新しい転写活性化モデルを提出した。
