Research Abstract

色素体の機能に依存した光合成関連遺伝子の転写制御において、これまでの定説ではテトラピロール合成中間体MgProtoIXの蓄積量が重要であると考えられてきたが、本研究によって、その蓄積量は転写制御と直接の関連性がないことが明らかとなった。更に、CRY1およびHY5とテトラピロール合成系GUN遺伝子との間に、遺伝学的相互作用があることを見いだした。
