Research Abstract

種子吸水時の分子メカニズムにかんする研究をおこなった。種子吸水と発芽/休眠の過程を区別するために、シロイヌナズナの休眠性が高い種子(Cvi系統)と低い系統(Col系統)の比較解析をおこなった。マイクロアレイによる遺伝子発現解析の結果、Cvi系統でもCol系統でも吸水後3時間で顕著な遺伝子発現変動を見いだした。また、シクロへキシミドを用いた研究から、これら遺伝子発現は、種子に蓄えられた転写因子によることを示した。
