Research Abstract

直接の祖先野生種を含めヨーロッパブドウについてはそのほとんどでブドウのアントシアニン合成制御にきわめて重要な役割を果たすMYB様転写因子遺伝子VvmybA1の上流にレトロトランスポゾン(Gret1)が挿入されているが、北アメリカ種群及び東アジア種群ではGret1の挿入は認められず、Gret1の挿入はヨーロッパブドウが北アメリカ種群や東アジア種群から分かれた後に起こったことが明らかになった。また、このGret1の挿入は約20万年前に起こったと推定された。
