Research Abstract |
Regulation mechanisms of anti-sigma membrane protein which regulates the activity of sigma factors in Bacteria was studied. The membrane protein of unknown function was newly found to regulate the activity of a sigma factor. It was found that the anti-sigma membrane protein can interact with only the C-terminal portion of the sigma factor.
