Research Abstract

キシログルカナーゼ組換えポプラでは、引張あて材G層のセルロースミクロフィブリル間の充填構造がキシログルカンであることを明らかにした。キシラナーゼ組換えポプラでは、成長初期における二次壁形成が遅れ、リグニン沈着量が少なくなることが明らかとなった。ポリガラクチュロナーゼ組換えポプラでは、細胞の径や繊維の長さが野生株と比べて小さくなり、成長が遅くなった。このことから、ポリガラクツロン酸が細胞成長の時の細胞間の滑りに寄与していることが示唆された。
