Research Abstract

セルロースなど、バイオマスからの単離成分の化学反応は良く知られているが、バルクの木材中での反応における各構成成分の寄与についての知見は少ない。本研究では、リグニンや低分子多糖類の選択的除去により木材の構成成分を量的・質的に改変し、化学反応性や力学的性質に及ぼす影響を調べた。その結果、アセチル化に対してリグニンが高い反応選択性をもつこと、また主要構成成分の選択的除去が力学的性質に与える影響を明らかにした。
