| Research Abstract |
最近、食欲を変化させるグレリンと呼ばれるホルモンが胃から分泌されることが発見された。この研究の目的は、グレリンに消化管の運動を調節する作用があるか明らかにすることである。ラットを用いた実験から、グレリンは胃だけではなく脊髄の中でも作られていて、脊髄で作られるグレリンが自律神経を活発にして、大腸の運動を強くすることがわかった。ストレスによる下痢や便秘を改善するために応用可能な現象であると考えられる。
