Research Abstract

ウシ乳房炎は生産動物の感染症において経済的損失が最も高く、畜産物の安全性を堅持する上でも大きな阻害要因となっている。乳房炎は、大腸菌や黄色ブドウ球菌など複数の病原微生物が関与する乳腺組織の感染症である。これらの原因菌は乳汁合成を阻害するとともに、乳汁に排菌された微生物は新たな感染源となる。本研究ではウシ由来乳腺上皮細胞を用い、in vitroにおける免疫学的多様性を評価し、乳腺細胞由来抗菌物質の動態および白血球機能との関連性を明らかにした。
