Research Abstract |
Strategies involving cascade process offer the advantage of multiple carbon-carbon bond formations in a single operation. At first, we developed the radical cascade reaction of substrates having two different radical acceptors. Additionally, cascade reaction involving hydroxylation with molecular oxygen was also developed. Next, several reactions using catalysts were investigated. From the standpoint of sustainable chemistry, these developed catalyst-mediated reactions would be desirable tools for preparing organic compounds.
