Research Abstract |
脳血流は、神経活動に応じて局所的に調節されるが、この調節を司る脳内細血管のタイプと時間的な血流変化の関係などの詳細はわかっていない。血管平滑筋型ATP感受性カリウム(K_<ATP>)チャネルのサブユニットKir6.1を欠失させたマウスの実験から、神経活動に対応する脳血流調節に脳内の特定の細動脈の拡張が関わることがわかり、更に議論のあったKir6.1の脳内局在についてもmRNAレベルでは一定の結論が得られた。
