Research Abstract

(1)蝸牛内リンパ腔電位(endocochlear potential, EP)の発生源は辺縁細胞の側基底膜のNa^+拡散電位である。(2)EPの変化は、主として内リンパ腔周囲細胞における種々のCa^<2+>チャネル(主としてL型Ca^<2+>チャネルやTRPCチャネル)から細胞内へのCa^<2+>流入によって引き起こされる細胞間タイト結合の電気抵抗の低下によるものである。(3)EP変化の一部は辺縁細胞内のCa^<2+>濃度の上昇による側基底膜のNa+拡散電位の低下によって引き起こされている。以上、EPの発生機序とその調節におけるCa^<2+>の役割に付いて研究成果を得た。
