Research Abstract

ランダム変異導入法によりB 型インフルエンザウイルス(B/Kanagwa/73)HA の一アミノ酸変異HA を作製した。301 変異HA のうち69%の変異が許容され、これはA 型ウイルスHA の約1.5 倍に相当する。2 系統に分岐後の B 型ウイルスHA(BHA)も同程度の許容性を示した。また、分岐前後BHA 上の同一変異の96%でその影響が一致した。BHA はアミノ酸変異に対する許容性が高く変異の蓄積による構造的変化が少ないため、分岐前後のBHA 間でアミノ酸変異の機能への影響にほぼ差がないことが示唆された。
