| Research Abstract |
循環器疾患の発症には概日リズムが認められる。本研究は循環器疾患発症の概日リズムを体内時計の観点で明らかにし、時間を考慮した視点からの循環器疾患の予防法、治療法の開発をめざして遂行した。まず末梢の体内時計によりコントロールされている遺伝子群の候補として転写因子、分泌タンパク、膜受容体など28個の遺伝子が同定され、体内時計がこれらの遺伝子発現を通じて循環器疾患発症に関与していることが示唆された。
