Research Abstract

心臓がポンプ臓器であるが故に常に被るメカニカルストレスが心筋再生に悪影響を及ぼすと仮説を立て、検証を行った。マウス心筋梗塞作製後に梗塞心を摘出し、別マウスの腹腔内に異所性心移植を行い、メカニカルストレス軽減モデルを作製した。対照群と比較して、壁厚が保たれ、梗塞面積も縮小していた。また、細胞増殖の増加やアポトーシスの減少、障害心筋内への幹細胞集積が認められた。以上から、メカニカルストレス軽減が心筋再生を促すことが示された。
